How about a mini escape from Geneva this weekend?

There are three must-see events happening in the lovely city of Morges. With its privileged situation on the shores of the Léman, facing the majestic Mont Blanc and only 30 minutes from Geneva by train or 45 minutes by car, why not enjoy a stroll along the lake (much more picturesque than “La Rade”) and through the pedestrian Old Town, which is home to a lively open-air market on Saturday and the yummy chocolate from Christian Boillat.

First Event: the annual Tulip Festival

The Association “Morges Flower of Lake Geneva” celebrates every year the coming back of spring, with the Tulip Festival, in the 30,000m2 “Parc de l’Indépendance ”. Created for the 50th anniversary of the Vaudoise Society of Horticulture in 1971, the Tulip Festival still delights the 100’000 annual visitors. Free event. Lots of parking just in front and a playground nearby.

Second Event: Wine fair Divinum

For this second edition, Divinum (launched following Arvinis’ move along the lake to Montreux) has chosen Neuchâtel (wines and local produce) as guest of honor. You can also discover many exceptional wine estates from Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain and Argentina. Barbecue season will soon be here, so don’t forget to fill your cellar!

Divinum will take place at the Parc des Sports in Morges from April 11 to 16. We strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets beforehand.

Third Event: Salon des Thérapies Naturelles

Over 150 exhibitors, 100 conferences, 40 free workshops on everything you need to know about alternative / natural therapies. There’s even a kindergarten. Please note that all conferences and workshops are in French. Tickets sold on the spot
